A serious crash near Devizes has closed a main road this afternoon.

Emergency services are responding to reports of the road traffic collision at Sells Green. The A361 is currently closed at the bottom of Caen Hill through to Melksham.

It’s understood that the road is likely to remain closed until late evening.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “As Seend High Street is also closed, this will mean that there will be significant traffic delays in the area. We advise all drivers to seek alternative routes.

“HGV Drivers, please check your sat navs carefully as minor routes around the area are unsuitable for large vehicles. Please be patient.”
