A police helicopter based in Bristol – which is seen circling Swindon on a regular basis – has flown over the town tonight en-route to a large disorder in London.
An air ambulance landed in the Streatham Hill area as emergency services respond to an ongoing incident on Streatham Common, where locals reported seeing dozens of people caring large knives.
Wiltshire’s local National Police Air Service helicopter flew over Swindon at around 11.10pm, arriving at the scene in London at around 11.45pm.
Last night, just two miles away in Brixton, 22 police officers were injured whilst respond to a mass disorder and illegal music event in the borough. Many people vehicles were also damaged.
