Immigration officers visited a hand car wash in North Wiltshire this morning.
Alongside Wiltshire Police, the Home Office agency conducted a routine welfare check on staff at Calne Hand Car Wash on Porte Marsh Industrial Estate at around 10.30am.
A number of police vehicles and Immigration Enforcement vans were seen parked at the facility.
A police spokesperson confirmed that “no issues were identified” during their visit.
The force is asking people to look out for workers at car washes, nail bars and domestic cleaning companies due to their being a risk of modern slavery and exploitation.
