‘Hopper bus’ knocks man down on Warminster street and flees

A man has been hit by a bus in Warminster this evening.

Wiltshire Police is asking witnesses to come forward following the crash, which which the driver of a white ‘hopper bus’ left the scene without stopping.

The bus struck a man, who was getting out of his car on Victoria Road at around 6.45pm today, 2 February, and then continued towards the town without stopping.

Luckily, the man wasn’t seriously injured.

Police would like to anyone who can provide information regarding this incident to contact PC Briant at Warminster police station via the 101 non-emergency number.
