A homeless man has been charged with stabbing a victim in Swindon town centre.
Timothy Ryan faces allegations of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a locking knife in a public place.
It follows a knife attack on a man, aged in his 50s, in the Spring Gardens area on Sunday evening (21 January).
The victim was treated in hospital and discharged within several hours.
The 24-year-old defendant has been remanded in police custody and will appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Tuesday).
