A road in Marlborough, which has been labelled as ‘historically dangerous’ has claimed another victim this week, a grey Kia Picanto.
Moving out of the way of a tractor on Ram Alley, the driver of the vehicle attempted to mount the steep verge and ended up forcing the car onto its roof.
Nick Gordon, who was at the scene, said:”The poor driver was forced high onto the verge where he toppled over. This was due to an extra wide Chelsea Tank charging at him taking no prisoners. It’s not too much to ask is it that you drive a little less like an a***.”
The driver is understood to be shaken, but uninjured.
Giulietta Cecilia said: “How unfortunate. It’s historically a dangerous road – my father crashed his Ford Cortina there in about 1969 maybe and he was not a bad driver and had no other accidents.”
