A missing teenager in Highworth has sparked a huge emergency response tonight.

At least ten police vehicles were seen on the streets from 10pm after receiving reports relating to the welfare of an 18-year-old woman from the town.

Police were patrolling Highworth and close villages as they searched for the ‘high risk’ missing woman.

Local businesses which were open in the area were reportedly told to press their emergency red button if she entered their store so officers would respond immediately.

It’s understood she was located safe before midnight.
