Firefighters tackled flames coming from a chimney at a house in Calne on Tuesday.
Fire crews were called to the property in Lickhill Road shortly after 10am yesterday morning (13 December).
On arrival at the scene, they found the chimney ablaze and a significant amount of smoke was visible.
Firefighters removed a wood burner and tackled the fire from the hearth using a chimney kit.
An aerial ladder platform appliance from Swindon was called in to check the flames were fully extinguished.
A building control officer from Wiltshire Council also attended the incident to inspect the chimney stack.
