Emergency services have attended a road traffic collision on Box Hill.

999 crews rushed to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the A4 between Rudloe and Box at around 3.30pm this afternoon (Wednesday).

The incident involved a grey van and a white SEAT Toledo.

Two ambulances and a fire crew from Chippenham were in attendance alongside police.

Firefighters are understood to have made the scene safe – nobody was trapped, everybody was out of their vehicles on their arrival.

No one is believed to have been seriously injured and recovery work is ongoing at the scene.

The road is partially blocked, but expected to reopen within the next hour.
