Fire and ambulance vehicles line a road this evening as emergency services respond to a medical incident in a field in Swindon.
It’s understood a female is stuck in a tall tree near Coate Water — between Queens Drive and Marlborough Road — in what is believed to be a mental health incident.
999 crews are thought to have first arrived at the scene at around 7pm.
Fire crews from Swindon and Stratton are in attendance alongside a heavy rescue unit and rope rescue from Trowbridge, and a rope rescue unit from Chippenham. A fire officer is also at the scene.
Two ambulances, two Hazard Area Response Team (HART) incident units and a paramedic officer are at the incident alongside a number of police officers.
The condition of the casualty is unknown at this time.
