A driver was taken to hospital after a car overturned in a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Shaftesbury Road, Wilton, at around 11am this morning following reports of the road traffic collision.
The road was closed at the junction of Saddlers Mead whilst firefighters from Wilton and Salisbury stations worked to free a woman trapped in one of the cars.
An Audi and a Peugeot were involved in the crash, with the Audi flipping onto its roof.
One of the drivers were taken to Salisbury District Hospital as a precaution and no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called shortly after 11am this morning (18/05) to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Shaftesbury Road, Wilton.
“We attended along with the ambulance service and fire service and while no injuries were reported, the driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Salisbury District Hospital as a precaution.
“The road was closed at the junction of Saddlers Mead while both vehicles, an Audi and a Peugeot, were recovered and the road was cleared shortly before 1pm.”
