A driver has caused a crash after ‘forgetting which side of the road to use’.
Police were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Purton, near Swindon, today (Tuesday).
A silver Volkswagen Passat estate and a white Volkswagen Polo were involved in the incident.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit (RPU) said that one of the drivers had “recently returned from Spain and forgot that we drive on the left” in the UK.
They confirmed that the driver was reported for careless driving.
Nobody’s believed to have sustained any serious injuries in the crash.
