Devizes teenagers arrested after stolen car crashed into house

Three teenager boys have been arrested after a stolen car crashed into a house.

Police responded to reports of a vehicle being taken and driven dangerously in Devizes at around 3.20am this morning (Wednesday).

The vehicle collided with a lamppost and house, causing some damage to the building.

The occupants decamped and fled the scene on foot – sparking an urgent search.

One male was arrested by an authorised firearms officers, whilst police dogs Stan and Ross successfully tracked down two other males.

They remain in custody, held on suspicion of taking a vehicle without owners consent, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
