Roads around Devizes are gridlocked as emergency services attend an incident.
Fire crews and police raced to reports of a car blaze in Windsor Drive at around 2.45pm (Monday).
The road, which is being used as a rat run due to roadworks in London Road, has been closed.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: “Drivers please be aware that Windsor Drive near the junction with Coate Road is currently closed due to a vehicle fire.
“We understand this road is being used as a cut through due to the ongoing traffic lights on London Road.
“Please find alternate routes and leave extra time for journeys.”
It’s not clear how long the route will remain shut.
