Detectives are investigating a ‘serious’ incident which happened near a central Swindon park.
A witness to the occurrence, between 3.35am and 3.40am on Monday 17 November, is sought.
Wiltshire Police has not provided details about the incident – other than the fact a male and female were involved – but Swindon CID are leading the investigation.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: “Officers investigating an incident near the Outlet Village are appealing for a potential witness to come forward.
“The witness, who may be able to help with our investigation, was walking up Park Lane, towards the Outlet Village, between 3.35am and 3.40am on Monday, November 17.
“The witness, who is believed to be a female, was wearing a hi-viz coat and is believed to have been present when a man and woman exited one of the addresses on Park Lane. It is believed the witness spoke to the woman as she left the address.
