Three men have been arrested in Chippenham after drugs were found alongside £40,000.
Following an operating in Swindon yesterday (14 January), officers were made aware of a vehicle linked to suspicious activity – leading them to Ryan Avenue.
The vehicle was located near the insured person’s home address. Inside, two men were detained while a search of the building was conducted.
During the search, a van arrived at the property. The driver was also detained while the van was searched.
Around a kilogram of cocaine and around £40,000 in cash were found during searches of the property, as well as around 8kg of methamphetamine – often referred to as crystal meth.
All three men – aged 54, 45 and 19 – were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Two of the men were also arrested on suspicion of money laundering. They have been taken into custody for questioning.
