A crime scene was in place this morning (Saturday) following a serious assault.
Police were called to a disorder outside Kioki nightclub, in High Street, Old Town, shortly after 4am (12 November).
On arrival, officers found a man with a serious facial injury, which had been sustained during the fight. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He is currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
A crime scene was put in place opposite Kioki – which closed its doors at 4am, moments before the incident – but was lifted by 5.30am.
