An elderly couple have been rushed to hospital after a horror crash in Devizes.
Emergency services raced to the scene shortly before midday today (14 October) and discovered a silver car on its roof with the two occupants trapped inside.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s critical care team attended the scene in Brickley Lane alongside two fire crews, local paramedics and police.
The pair, both in their 80s, were taken to hospital by South Western Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘We managed to extricate the two occupants and handed [them] over to the ambulance service.
‘We would like to wish them both a speedy recovery.’
The fire spokesperson also asked that people not to “speculate to the cause” of the crash.
