There’s chaos on the A350 after a crash involving a lorry and a car blocked the route.

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision at the junction for Whitehall Garden Centre and Lacock at around 4pm today (Tuesday).

The incident involved a HGV and a black Nissan car, but no one is thought to have been seriously injured.

Police have closed the road between Lackham Roundabout in Chippenham and Beanacre in Melksham. It’s not known when it’ll reopen.

In an earlier statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware of closures in place in both directions on the A350 at Lacock following a road traffic collision involving a lorry and a car.

“There are no reported serious injuries at this time but the road will remain closed for some time to allow for removal of the vehicles.

“Please seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area.”
