A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Calne.
A woman, aged in her 30s, was rushed to hospital with knife wounds following a “domestic” in Lawrence Drive yesterday afternoon (2 December).
Armed police reportedly force entry into a property to arrest the suspect, a man aged in his 60s.
In a statement, a spokespersons for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to reports of domestic on Lawrence Drive, Calne just before 1.30pm yesterday afternoon (02/12).
“A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
“A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.”
