A broken down lorry on a major route near the A419 is causing traffic delays.
National Highways are dealing with the incident on the carriageway southbound in the Birdlip area, north of Cirencester, this morning (Thursday).
The obstruction has resulted in three miles of queuing traffic on the approach in both directions.
A spokesperson said: “A broken down HGV is causing an obstruction on the A417 southbound between the A436 Little Witcombe and the A419 Cirencester.
“There is around 3 miles of congestion on approach which is adding about half an hour to normal journey times.”
