A report of a ‘body in a vehicle’ has sparked a significant 999 response in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to Stratton Woods, off Kingsdown Road, at around 9.30am this morning (Tuesday).
Locals reported seeing five police vehicles, two fire engines and fire cars attending the scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said officers were responding to a “concern for a person inside a vehicle”, and confirmed that all was in order.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire crews from Stratton to the incident, but were stood down shortly after their arrival.
