A B&M Home Store staff member is said to have seriously assaulted a man near the store where he works in Swindon on Saturday morning.
A man in his 40s was punched in the face, sustaining nose and head injuries, during an attack outside Sainsbury’s, Bridgemead, on Saturday 25 November.
A eyewitness, who doesn’t want to be named, told Wiltshire 999s: “I saw a man wearing a hoodie assault the man, he had a bright orange collar. After emergency service arrived, someone mentioned that he was an employee of B&M Bargains next to Sainsbury’s”.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and has been released under investigation.
