Two men have been charged after raids on two properties in Swindon.
Officers, supported by armed police, carried out drugs warrants at addresses in Islandsmead and Barrington Close yesterday (Thursday, 27 June).
Approximately £30,000 cash and cannabis was located and seized by the team – who work on a unit dedicated to serious youth gang violence.
Kenzie Cobb, 20, of Islandsmead, and Ben Johnson, 44, of Barrington Close were charged with being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.
A third male, aged 16, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.
Cobb and Johnson were remanded in police custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday).
