An air ambulance landed after a motorbike and car crashed near Swindon.
Emergency services raced to reports of the two-vehicle road traffic collision in Restrop Road, Purton, at around 8.30am this morning (Wednesday).
The incident involved a motorcyclist and a silver Mercedes at the junction with Bagbury Lane.

Police and the ambulance service attended, with 999 crews later requesting assistance from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance.
The helicopter lifted at around 9.15am, touching down in a nearby field soon after.

Officers closed the road in both directions while medics treated the rider. They have since been conveyed to hospital for further care.
Their condition is not believed to be serious, however, this is yet to be confirmed by the authorities.

By 10.15am, the route was reopened – with vehicle recovery tasked.
In an earlier statement, Purton Parish Council said: “URGENT, ACCIDENT: Restrop Road is closed from Bagbury Lane to the Manor House due to an accident.”
Wiltshire Police and South Western Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
