Emergency services are attending a two-vehicle crash on the M4 through Wiltshire.
An air ambulance landed near the scene between junctions 17 (Chippenham) and 18 (Bath) at 2pm.
Two vehicles are said to have been involved – with one of them leaving the road onto an embankment.
The incident, on the westbound carriageway, isn’t blocking the road – emergency vehicles were spotted lining the hard shoulder whilst they attend the scene.
South Western Ambulance Service confirmed it sent an ambulance, an operations officer, an air ambulance and two hazardous area response teams (HART) to the location.
However, the HART teams and air ambulance were stood down on arrival.
Wiltshire Police said the incident is not blocking the M4, with one of the damaged vehicles on the hard shoulder. The other left the carriageway altogether.
The force says no one has suffered any serious injuries and all three lanes are open.
