Wiltshire Air Ambulance has landed in Swindon to attend a serious medical emergency at a mental health facility.
The ambulance service was called to Sandalwood Court, off Highworth Road, at around 8pm.
Two critical care medics are supporting local ambulance crews at the NHS provision run by the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership.
The air ambulance landed in a field behind Grange Leisure Centre in Grange Drive, with dozens of residents coming out to view the aircraft up close.
The condition of the casualty is currently unknown, but they have been taken to Great Western Hospital by land ambulance.
