The A350 in Chippenham has been closed in both directions following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the incident between Bumpers Farm roundabout and Cepen Park South roundabout at around 5am this morning (3 March).
The road traffic collision is believed to have involved a lorry and a car, with the car leaving the carriageway and coming to rest in a ditch.
The road is expected to remain closed until after midday whilst a forensic collision investigation is undertaken.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The A350 in Chippenham is closed in both directions between Bumpers Farm roundabout and Cepen Park South roundabout following a serious collision at approximately 5am.
”The road is likely to remain closed for several hours.
“Please seek an alternative route. Thank you.”
