A cordon is in place after a van carrying gas canisters caught fire near Devizes.
Emergency services were called to the B3098 at Easterton, near Market Lavington, at around 3.30pm this afternoon (Wednesday).
Police are guarding the scene – with locals warned to stay away due to the risk of explosion.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware of a cordon in place and road closure due to a van fire outside The Paddock Veterinary Practice on the A3098 at Easterton.
“Colleagues from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently attending and have placed a 100m cordon around the scene.
“Members of the public are asked to stay away due to the potential risk posed by gas canisters on the vehicle.”
