A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on the A350 – with police launching a full-scale investigation into what happened.

Emergency services were called to a three-vehicle collision outside the BP garage on Beanacre Road, Melksham, at around midday today (Thursday).

An Ashton Farms-branded heavy goods vehicle (HGV), a Ford Fiesta and a motorbike were involved in the serious incident.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, Wiltshire Police has confirmed.
