UPDATE: Teenage girl struck by car walking to school in Trowbridge
A busy Trowbridge road has been closed following a road traffic collision this morning (Monday).
Emergency services were called to County Way at around 8.30am – with the route blocked.
The road is shut between Bradley Road and Longfield Roundabout. There are significant traffic delays in the area.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Please be aware of a closure currently in place on County Way, Trowbridge, following a road traffic collision.
“Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect delays in the area.
“Thank you for your patience.”
