Thousands of pounds stolen in Wiltshire village shop burglary

Thousands of pounds has been stolen in a burglary at a Wiltshire village shop.

Police were called to the scene at The Co-operate Food in High Street, Tisbury, on 11 July.

Approximately £8,000 in cash was taken during the incident, which happened in the early hours.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said that “enquiries are currently ongoing”.

Adding: “We are urging anyone with information, including any witnesses or anyone who may have been passing the area and may have dash cam footage, to get in touch.
