Trailer load of scrap metal strewn across the busy stretch of A420 in afternoon crash

A lorry’s trailer has overturned on the A420 just outside Swindon this afternoon.

The crash, which also involved a car, meant that the vehicle’s entire load of scrap metal has been strewn across the busy stretch of road causing a full closure from around 3pm.

The road’s shut between B4508 Majors Road and Little Coxwell.
