A major road in Swindon has been closed for urgent work by Thames Water.
The closure of Wootton Bassett Road is causing chaos for motorists this morning (Monday).
It’s closed under the railway bridge, between Redposts Drive and Penzance Drive.
Traffic is building up in the area as drivers come across the unexpected closure.
The news comes after a burst water main shut Great Western Way on Friday, 15 March.
Mead Way, which was also affected, remains closed – with significant delays in the area.
