Road closed as emergency services attend head-on crash on A360 near Devizes

Emergency services are currently attending a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Devizes.

The head-on crash happened on the A360 close to Potterne at around 1.30pm this afternoon, with the road completely blocked by 999 crews working at the scene.

A black Volkswagen Tiguan and a grey Skoda were involved in the crash. No one’s believed to have suffered an serious injuries.

Faresaver Buses say their 76 service between Devizes and Steeple Ashton is not running due to the road closure. The 33 service between Devizes and Chippenham has also delayed.

The road is expected to reopen by 4pm.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We were called at around 1.30pm today (15/10) to a report of a road traffic collision involving a black Volkswagen and a grey Skoda on the A360 near Potterne.

”Only minor injuries have been reported and an ambulance was called.

“The road remains closed between Silver Street and The Fairway while the ambulance is on the scene and both vehicles are recovered.”
