Two men have been arrested following a knife attack in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Paramedics rushed a 25-year-old man to hospital after he sustained a slash wound to his chest in an altercation in High Street, near Borough Fields at around 11.40pm on Friday night.

During the investigation, led by CID detectives, two men were identified as suspects and subsequently arrested. Both are in their 20s and from Royal Wootton Bassett.

They remain in custody at Gablecross Police Station held on suspicion of Grevious Bodily Harm.
