Emergency services were called to Baron’s Court at around 4pm today, Tuesday, 14 March, where a man was found to be injured.

A number of drivers were forced to perform an emergency stop when the distressed man jumped out ahead of them, reportedly with a slit throat.

Wiltshire Police were quick to inform the public that the incident was not in relation to the murder investigation underway in the town.

The man was been taken to hospital by road ambulance, and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
