Police investigating the robbery of two men in Swindon are asking witnesses to come forward
The incident happened at around 11pm on Wednesday 15 July in Spring Gardens, behind Halfords on Fleming Way.
Wiltshire Police said two men, both in their twenties, were sitting on a bench when they were approached by a man.
The suspect threatened to stab them unless they handed over their belongings, although officers said no weapon was seen.
Fearing violence, the victims handed over two mobile phones, a wallet and a watch.
The offender then fled the scene on foot, running towards Princes Street.
He is described as wearing a black balaclava, a large black coat, black trousers and black shoes.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information that could assist the investigation, to come forward.
