Police have found a stolen van burnt out in a rural area near Frome.
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police made the discovery while carrying out patrols in the countryside.
PC John and PCSO Will were on duty in rural areas around Frome when they located the shall of the vehicle.
The van had been reported stolen a few days earlier. An investigation is ongoing.
Police have thanked members of the public who continue to report anything unusual in rural communities.
They are urging people to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity, particularly vehicles being driven into fields, tracks or isolated land.
Officers also want to hear about vehicles parked where they do not usually belong and unusual activity around farms, outbuildings or rural roads.
