Police have dished out points to four drivers who skipped a set of traffic lights in Calne.
Roads policing officers were stationed in The Strand on Saturday (4 April) for around one hour following reports of regular red-light jumping.
It comes after four-way temporary traffic lights were installed for roadworks to be carried out safely in the area.
Four drivers were spotted skipping red lights on the junction, and will be given three points on their licence – along with a £100 fine.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “On Saturday (04/04), a Roads Policing Unit was deployed in Calne following complaints about motorists ignoring temporary traffic lights on The Strand.
“Officers monitored the area for approximately an hour and identified 4 drivers failing to stop at a red light.
“All offenders will be reported, each facing 3 penalty points and a £100 fine.
“Please remember—temporary lights are there for safety. Always stop on red.”
