Man’s body discovered after police officers enter Salisbury home

Man’s body has been discovered after police officers entered a home in Salisbury.

Wiltshire Police were called to an an incident at an address in Appleshaw Way, Bishopdown, on Wednesday morning (18 March).

Officers entered the property at around 1pm. A 50-year-old man was found deceased; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The house was cordoned off as a crime scene and both detective and forensics were dispatched to carry out investigative work.

The force has since confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends”, a spokesperson added.
