A young woman has died after emergency services rushed to a Wiltshire home.
999 crews responded to a serious incident at a property in the countryside south of Foxley, near Malmesbury, at around 1pm today (Monday).
Great Western Air Ambulance landed in a field close to the incident, as the charity’s critical care medics raced to provide urgent support to local ambulance crews.

At the height of the incident, there was an ambulance, three ambulance officers, two firearms officers and numerous local response officers in attendance.
Despite the best efforts of medics, the woman – aged in her 20s – was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Four detectives from CID were deployed, carrying out an assessment of the scene.

The death was declared non-suspicious, Wiltshire Police confirmed. ‘Our thoughts are with her family’, the force added.
