A woman has been ‘wedged between two cars’ in a dramatic crash in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision outside SR Motor Group in Kennedy Drive, Eldene, at around 3pm this afternoon (Sunday).
The incident involved a silver Volkswagen Golf R, a second car and a 45-year-old female pedestrian.
According to Wiltshire Police, the casualty became “wedged” between the vehicles – sustaining potentially life-changing injuries.
Critical care medics from Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance were on scene, with the helicopter touching down outside Eldene Community Centre.
She has been airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for urgent treatment.

“We attended a Road Traffic Collision outside SR Motors in Kennedy Drive shortly after 3pm today (13/07) after a 45-year old female pedestrian had become wedged between two cars.
“She has been transported by air ambulance to hospital to be treated for potentially life changing injuries.
“Any witnesses should contact us on 101 quoting log 233 of today’s date (13/07).”
