A woman has been injured in a two-vehicle crash on a Chippenham junction.
A small white van and a silver Nissan Micra were involved in the road traffic collision at around 11.30am this morning.
It happened on the junction of Avenue La Fleche with Gladstone Road, partially obstructing the road for some motorists.
Several police officers, including a roads policing officer, and a paramedic were in attendance of the incident whilst they awaited the arrival of an ambulance.
The female casualty waited at the wheel of her car before an ambulance arrived at the scene at around 12.10pm and transfer her onto a stretcher.
She’s been taken to hospital for assessment as a precaution but isn’t believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
The road’s expected to be clear by 1pm following vehicle recovery work.
