A woman’s been killed in a ‘fall from height’ as emergency services swarm the scene.
The incident sparked a significant emergency response in Springfield Place, on Lansdown Road in Bath, at around 9.15am today (Monday).
Witnesses reported seeing around eight police vehicles in attendance, alongside a number of ambulances – with the busy route partially blocked.

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance was also deployed, but was stood down en route.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that they were called to “a report of a woman having fallen from a height”.

They added: “Emergency services attended but sadly the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her death is not believed to be suspicious.
“Her next of kin is aware and our thoughts are with them.”
Forensic investigation work is ongoing at the scene, with two detectives also present.
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust also confirmed their response.
“We were called at 09:19hrs on Monday 24 November to an incident in Bath”, a spokesperson said.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, and an operations officer to the scene.”
