A woman was taken to hospital after a dog attack in a park near Trowbridge.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which happened at Southwick Country Park in Southwick at around 6.45am on Tuesday (26 May).
Officers are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the owned of the dog involved.
“The victim was walking in the park when she was bitten on the leg by a light-coloured, sandy brown dog, thought to be a collie”, a force spokesperson said.
“She suffered puncture wounds and swelling to the leg which required hospital treatment.
“The suspect, who was also walking a black and white collie, is thought to be in her 50s, and is described as short and stocky with blonde, shoulder-length hair.
