A woman has died after emergency services were called to a street in Chippenham.
Numerous 999 crews responded to a sudden death at a property in Loyalty Street at around 7pm on Friday evening (26 September).
Locals reported seeing an ambulance in attendance along with at least four police vehicles.
A woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after their arrival – and detectives were tasked to investigate the death.
Enquiries were carried out inside the house, with detectives declaring the circumstances surrounding her death non-suspicious.
Officers remained at the address late into the night until the arrival of a private ambulance.
‘Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time’, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
