A 28-year-old Gloucestershire woman who died in a motorcycle crash near Swindon yesterday is understood to have passed her full motorbike test just days before her fatal road traffic collision.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that Kerry Gudger died from her injuries at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where she was taken by air ambulance early on Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened on an unnamed road between Castle Eaton and Hannington, and involved just a single vehicle – a Suzuki motorcycle – of which she was the rider.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with her family at this very difficult time.
“We are still appealing for anyone with information to contact PC Peter Williamson, from the Collision Investigation Unit, on 101, quoting log 54190046890.”
