Police are investigating the cause of a fire at a barn in Wroughton last night.
Fire crews from Swindon, Stratton and Royal Wootton Bassett battled the blaze on farmland opposite Lister Road, off Swindon Road, shortly before 9pm.
Two fire engines and a water carrier were involved in tackling the fire.
“At 8.50pm last night we were made aware of a barn fire at Warren Farm in Wroughton”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said. Continuing: “This was brought under control by colleagues from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the blaze.”
