A man has been arrested after police attended a paedophile hunter ‘sting’.
Officers were called the Devizes area after an online group confronted a 65-year-old suspect about his alleged communication with a child.
At the scene on Friday (28 March), paedophile hunters claimed he has been speaking to a 14-year-old girl – and sent her photos of his penis.
Police were contacted, and arrived at around 1.15pm – immediately arresting the man as his wife watched on.
He was taken to custody, where he was held on suspicion of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the man has since been released on bail, as the investigation continues.
